I have had my BV7-32 since I think 4-5 years and no problems whatsoever. I upgraded to HD-ready but so far I haven´t tested HD quality. My digital Canal Digital receiver gives enough quality and offcourse the screen isn´t so big so HD is necessary. I also exchanged my BS 9000 to BS5/BM5 earlier this year and I haven´t had any problems at all with that. Next thing to upgrade are the speakers wich are BL8000. I´d like to have BL9 but i think the little wife is more interested in BL3.

The picture is stunning, we are only watching normal digital SD dignal, and it looks very good. What I have noticed is that whether its dark or very bright in the living room, then you always have a great picture. The big difference - as I see it - when comparing to the BV7-40 MKIV - is especially the black and contrast level when I dont have much light on in the living room.

Nice picture! It looks cool.
Just because it's mellow it doesn't mean it's less evil....

I am just watching Street Kings on Blueray, and I am just sitting and am amazed over the picture quality. Eventhough I had the same speakers (BL2 and BL7-2) with my old 7-40, even the sound just feels different. Can't explain why. But as my wife said nicecly, with this screen it kind of feels like being in the movie. The black level, the contrast, the sharpness, the design, the sound etc................this is from my point of view, the essence of what B&O should stand for. Being amazed.............

I have just seen Street Kings and am still amazed, in what other scenes/movies would movement across the screen be tested? I have to say, you can notice the local dimming if you have a black screen with i.e. a smaller white logo in the lower right corner, then you kind of see that the surrounding of the logo is a little brighter black than the rest of the screen. But if you watch normal TV (SD or even better HD) or a movie, this won't be noticed.

Hi Beolion!
Nice placement of the Form 1's, but I think the earpads will dry out soon.

There are some combination to choose from when ordering a BV7 (size, speaker, colour and stand).
