Just went by my dealer today, and thank god for that. Yesterday, he received his shop's BV7-55.
This tv looks absololutely perfect, with crystal clear picture and a very nice screen. In fact the BV7-40 or the BV10 looks very small when comparing them in the shop, and I had thought the BV7-55 would have looked a lot bigger.
Luckyly for me, I ordered a BV7-55 some weeks ago and with some luck it seams like it can arrive end of December
Cant wait.

Clearly opinions differ. I saw the BV7-55 today and thought it looked comical! Almost as if someone had paid B&O to produce it and the were somewhat reluctant, knowing how daft it would look.
It's just plain daft. Way too big, the 7.6 is wider than most people are tall and the *only* place I can see this working is one huge function room!

Moxxey,
Was it primarily the BL 7.6's size that added to the comical effect? In other words, if you had the BL 7.2 under that TV and therefore the speaker wasn't pushing beyond the panel, would it have looked better?

No, the TV just looked too big. I guess the BV7-55 looks a lot bigger than the BV9, as an example, as it has a huge black border around the panel. It's quite high, as you can imagine.
I'm waiting for either a BV7-46 or BV10-46.

Mark, Sounded very good as aa great Stereo Speaker.
However, like moxxey I think it looks a bit strange when the speaker goes outside the BV7-55 frame, regardless though I still think the TV looks great.

This is the setup I have opt for, as I will keep my existing BL7-4 and use it with the BV7-55. I have agreed with the dealer that if it looks strange I can change it into the BL7-6.
I think such a TV requires a Center speaker as it normally would be in a Surround setup, thats my main reason for staying with the BL7-4.

When I bought my BV7-40 I choosed 7-4, but then change for 7-2. The sound is far better and goes in a surround set-up to
I use speaker 4 often when listen to music
But as you know I change it to BV9 2 years ago....
So you think BV7-55 looks bigger than BV9?...then it is BIG...
I like the lower stand. It would be nice to see it in real

I went the other way around and thought the move from 7.2 to 7.4+BL9s was an improvement. The 7.2 is great, but mix a 7.4 with other speakers and the sound was definitely improved.
Trip - bear in mind that most homes in the UK aren't particularly large. I think we've already establised your clientele is very different from, say, most UK stores.

I haven't seen the 55" version, but I can imagine what I will think of it, since in my opinion the 40" BV7 is already out of proportion... IMHO. The BV7-32 looks very good though.
