Is the HD-module working OK together with HDR1?

Is it easy to make timer recordings?

one con might be that the recordings will be 4x larger (my guess) and therefore the HDR1's storage will be consumed even faster than normal

I use the HD moudule (in BV7-40 Mk IV) together with HDR2. Which should be the same as your setup.

Using the EPG to find the show I want to record and just press Red and Go on Beo4 then it will record from the DVB-HD module.

It is an analog recording. It consumes the same amount of space as recording from analog turner.

One major drawback in my opinion is that the DVB-HD turner in the TV is locked while recording. So you can't watch an other channel while recording.

HDR1 and HDR2 are not able to record HD quality. They will record a down converted SD version via SCART. So it will take the same space as normal. This is what my HDR2 does, when it is recording from my HD set top box.I don`t own the DVB HD module, but DVB S/T module, and I assume it works just the same way and that`s very easy.
