Hello Everybody,

I have a big problem with my BeoMedia, it won´t start up.

When I try to start up the Beomedia, it just asks the password for Administrator account login in Windows Xp Embedded. 

Have any of you been out for this problem before, and does anyone know the password for the Administrator account???

I don't remember what was it when i started my Beomedia 2 years ago... Have you tried .... ''admin''  ???

Yes, I have tryed all kind of "ordinary" passwords, it should be something else. 

The problem occurred when we did some changes in the service menu...

Try a hard reset; i.e., unplug the beomedia, let the red pilot light go out and reboot.

See what happens.

Hi Carl,

This happened to me, with the difference being that I had bought a used BM1 where the password had been changed from any of the ordinary passwords. In the end, as it is a computer, you need to bypass the login screen. It may help to try and reboot it and before it reads the OS, press (I think) F8.

If that doesn't help you can always do what I did and talk with your dealer. Best of luck!
