    Link TV Picture Problem.

    Hello Gents,

I'm in the process of adding another link TV to my system.  This will be the fourth link tv coming off the RF Link Amplifer.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot get a clear picture. The other TV's on the same amplifier have perfect picture quality.

I have checked and even changed the co-axle cable and it made no difference.

Link frequency is on the same channel.

Music works fine and I can change channels on Sky with the B&O remote etc.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks,

    David.

Greetings David.Try swapping the outputs on the rf amp,if the picture improves on the new set,and degrades on one of the others, the amp must be faulty? Is it a B&O rf amp?

    Regards,

    Nick

    p.s.How's the Beomaster 6000 these day's?

    Hello Nick,

Yes I have swapped the outputs over and it's still the same.

The red standby light is flashing now aswell. I will take another look tommorow and see if I can sort it out.

    Regards,

    David.

    Hi David

Have you also tried swapping the tv´s in your setup around. I know you say the cabeling should be allright, but just to make sure.

The connectors at both ends of the cable can somehow be faulty or what do i know. What if you disconnect all other linktv´s, maybe it is a signal limitation even though 4 linktv´s should be possible!

    Re: Link TV Picture Problem.

    Hello Ehlerz,

Swapped over the TV's today and the loan TV worked perfectly, so the cable and end connections are OK.

I then tried the co-axle cable in the DVBS socket on the BV6 and the TV works fine? If I try and use the Link TV socket the picture has lots of noise????

Confused now, but at least the TV has a good picture now.

    Cheers,

    David.
