I am up for it. How many do you need to finalise the booking?

I needed at least 150 members confirming.  However, i've managed to talk it down to 100.

So far we have 13 members confirmed, and the other 25 or so as a 'maybe'. Not good enough - even if every member brought another 2 people along!

I'd definitely be up for it then, as long as it's not near 10/03/10 as that's my girlfriend's 30th birthday, and I would be in serious trouble if I went away a couple of days before or after. Once a date is confirmed I will be able to say for sure.

Great choice of venue, it's always been a favourite of mine. I will definitely be there and you can count on me to bump up an extra 10 people or so if necessary. Perhaps some females as well, to reduce the rather disappointing ratio we have on BeoWorld?

I'm a definate, the wife will kill me if i don't, she is already planning a new frock. We have never been to the area before so can do a bit of a tour as well, agree could do with a date asap, so we can book somewhere to stay nice and early.

He's got a point. It's almost impossible to guarantee availability until you know what you're doing on the day of the meet (or can work around it). I'm in London at least once a week. If I know the day of the meet, I can arrange to be up on the same day :)

Any developments? Any date set? Need to know to book the day(s) off work.

Lee, three cheers to you for getting this arranged - you can count me in!

Just a thought  why not keep a backup plan ready in the form of a smaller (but hopefully just as elegant!) venue so that we can still go ahead if we don't quite make the 100 minimum?  It would be a shame to miss out on a get-together because of numbers, especially when we have people willing to travel in from overseas for the party!

The sooner we know the date, the soon I can start cancelling the weddings, funerals, etc. that normally clog up my diary!

we can probably organise a table for 10 people, having been to the venue many times before it will be easy to bring along many of my B&O pals and their spouses :-)

I'm just confirming dates - i needed to guage popularity first. Sorry.

Would anyone object to BeoWorld selling tickets for this event for say £20 each, then spending the whole amount raised on a lovely B&O Prize to be drawn on the night?  I'm thinking BeoSound 1, BeoSound 4 or similar. It would certainly add some excitement and disperse yet more B&O !!

I would also have some more B&O goodies on the night as 'runners up' prizes i'm sure...
