Re: First pictures of BV 10
I don't think I can judge it from the "poor" pictures, but it doesn't look like the "savior" of B&O...
Is that a prototype?

Re: First pictures of BV 10
OKok, it is rather nice, judging from the new pictures, just arriving...
How much will it be?! Perhaps I'll trade my BV5... Wait?! Did I say that out loud?

Re: First pictures of BV 10
I can't believe they said they have spend a huge amount of money for the launch of that TV and now they show it in a garage! on a black background!

I am quite sure that those pics were made at the dealer presentation and not at the official presentation for the press.

I think the bottom right picture shows off nicely the anti-reflective coating!

Re: First pictures of BV 10
The pictures (and the surrounding of the press introduction) just don't do the BV10 justice!
It's a superbly designed TV.. and finally a descent replacement for the Avant!
The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

Re: First pictures of BV 10
What a terrible set-up for the launch. Why on earth wasn't it put on a wall?
It would have been better to just put the image on line or do it through the Beolounge!
The back of the TV is not too attractive: you would think that the hinge and rear panel would look a bit more finished.
Graham
EDIT
Don't suppose the hinge is motorised????????
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. [W C Fields]

Re: First pictures of BV 10
The set-up is poor, but from what I can see so far I rather like the Beovision 10. Can't wait to see it for real...
Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

Re: First pictures of BV 10
It looks good but nothing special, design of BV 7 40'' is in my eyes much better and almost iconic as BS9000

That's more like it! It looks absolutely fabulous. I wouldn't mind swapping my BeoVision 6-26 for one... :)

Re: First pictures of BV 10
Please tell me what you are all getting excited about???
The basic design has been around for years, they have just updated the technology and made it cheaper. Hardly groundbreaking!!!!

It seems to me there are SOME for whom any new B&O product is greeted with the anticipation and later reception akin to the second coming!
It's flat screen TV. That's it!

I guess with the recent slowdown from Struer in pushing out new models and items to collect, the B&O-consumers focus more energy on whatever comes out. This would explain the hype "anything" new gets, as it's becoming a more rare event, and their latest product (BS 5) hasn't been all that iconic as e.g. the BL 5, the BS 9000 or even the BS1.
I agree with kokomo and Joeyboygolf - it's a flat screen tv with a design that's been around for their plasmas. (Don't get me wrong - it's a nice TV).
