There are two ways to handle this, neither of which is acceptable to the Senior management and which one you pick depends on the ramifications of missing the launch date, both financial and PR wise.
The first is to launch anyway while continuing to fix the problems and put up with early warranty issues, the second is to dealy until everything is fixed (obviously the first option isn't open to the likes of Airbus).
Come to think of it there is actually a third option - delay until you think its fixed and then launch and continue to fix warranty issues while you revisit the problem
B&O seem to manage all three at once!
