    Beosystem 6500 "No Contact"

Hi, my Beosystem 6500 displays "no contact" on the master control panel when ever I use the remote control, I have replaced the batteries in the remote but cannot get the remote to work. all items on the system work if operated manually, is there a reset or setup configuration needed as I cannot find anything in the manual about this message.

Any information would be greatfully received.

    Hello,

This happens sometimes with Beolink 5000 when it is set as a one-way remote.

Maybe you have the same option on the MCP.

There is no option on the MCP for 1 way remote.  Try switching the unit off at the mains  - wait a couple of minutes and reconnect.

Have you any other equipment (eg TVs etc) that you might have programmed by accident that may have caused the option numbers to change?
