I have Beo Center 2 and Beolab 8000 to configure to Belo 5.  However I am not able to make the DVD function works in Beo 5.  Any kind soul can help?

What TV are you using? What happens when you press DVD on the remote? I have a BC2 and Beo5 and mine works with no problem using the standard DVD button. Do you have the software?

I'm using old Phillip LCD TV...

Beo5 will display the DVD buttons but all of them are not working... 

From the software, I add "Beocenter 2" in "Choose Product" follow by Beolab 8000... then I want to add in "beocenter 2 DVD" under Video - Video Source - DVD, but not successfull.

How did you managed to configured it?

To be fair, I can't remember, but I have a B&O set and the DVD appeared automatically. Have you thought about getting Keith to program your Beo5 - he can probably get it to work the Philips set as well.

I don't think Keith can physically do the work for me as I am in the Fast East.

He might be able to send you a completed XML file - worth asking.

I am sure I can assist you if required, no matter where you are in the world, as I have assisted members located in both the US and Australia without problems.

If you have the Beo5 Configuration Tool and require a 3rd party XML file for a particular product, then please send me an e-mail stating what you wish to do.

Thank you so much, but I have more things to add in to my system... it would be double job to set the configuration now...
