Hi,
I have only ONE remote, the Beo4.
It does everything on my A/V setup. Simple, easy to use, beautiful, very strong as it can stand many falls on the floor, this is an excellent remote to have.
"Less is more"....
Cheers,
Guy

2 x Beo4, here. Complemented by volume control on the BeoCom 2400 and on the BeoCom 1.
Just can't seem to find a justification for getting a Beo4 for the BeoLab 2000 in the bathroom. That seems to be the only sound system around the house that actually gets touched on a consistent basis.

In my home..
1 x Beo4 Cinema with all the coating peeling of the buttons and a leaky LCD screen
2 x Standard Beo4's that refuse to be destroyed
1 x Beo5 Remote, last seen in a drawer in the kitchen - charger currently 'M.I.A' ... really must send it to Keith (with no return address...)
In my 'private collection' in a secure area at LifeStyle AV
BeoLink 7000 - boxed, only used twice by it's previous owner and 'as new'
BeoLink 5000 - boxed/unused.
Jaff - you have too many remotes. (i have an A-Level in stating the obvious you know..)

1x Beolink 1000 mk II
3x Beolink 1000 mk III
1x Beolink 5000 mk I
2x Beolink 5000 mk II
2x Beolink 7000 RDS
1x Beo 4 A/V
1x MCP 5000
1x MCP 6500
1x MCP 7000
1x MCP 7700
1x AV Terminal
1x Terminal 5000
1x Beocenter Terminal (7007/7700)
1x Beolab Terminal (6000)
1x Beolab Terminal (8000)
1x Commander 6000
1x A9 keyring
The ones that are actually being used almost every day are the BT8000 and the BL7000 in the bedroom, the Beo 4 in the livingroom and the Terminal 5000 in the kitchen. The second 7000 is mainly used as a display in the livingroom, and some of the BL1000s are used as extra remotes at various spots in the apartment. The rest of them is in a drawer at the moment.

4 beo4s
1 beo5
for 4 rooms.
From reading the posts I'd say that I'm the average (five remotes).
