Are you sure you're not holding your radio to your ear?

Interesting! One of the wires must be acting as an aerial so in the first event I would reroute the wires. Bizarre though! I suppose the other thought would be intereference from a wireless router but that seems a bit far fetched!

Interesting problem, I have heard of this type of problem before.

Do you live in a flat or high building in London ? If so, is there many flats in teh same block ?

Have you always had this problem ?

Does it happen to all your BeoCom 6000's ?

Does the problem happen all the time or just when you have good weather ?

    Re: Help needed

Last week, Mary next door asked me to see if I could sort out her bedroom phone (kikinoko). She said when she picked it up she could hear ITV 1.
Her downstairs 'phone just didn't work and when her daughter, Carol called her she was always engaged!
Turned out she had the bedroom phone internaly calling the downstairs 'phone which was slightly off the hook and placed next to the telly, which was on ITV 1.

    Sensotronic,

So, it started two days ago and has never happened previously ?

I would be surprised if the problem was with the Netgear router or extreme base station unless you have made some major changes in the last week ?

    Re: Help needed

I had a similar issue with a BT dect phone and kept hearing Virgin and assumed the callers were listening to background music. I bought a Beocom 2 hoping this would solve the problem (any excuse I hear you say) and the problem persisted, how disappointed was I? Got the B&O bug and bought a Beocom 6000 and 1401 and when installing microfilters in advance of getting broadband and the music stopped.

I guess if you have a wireless router you already have microfilters?

My B&O is in my Bio.

    Sensotronic,

Max raises a good point, do you have microfilters in place ?
