Thanks for all these exciting informations. It looks very attractive indeed. I have delayed the replacement of my BV 7-32 until I see this BV 10.
What do you mean exactly by saying: " the speaker is not equal to the screen"? Does it look like a square TV, like most flat screens today or does it have a speaker under the screen, with a fret on it, as the old BV 5 ?
Do you currently know what sizes would be proposed initially?
Thanks, Marc.

My dealer told me the BV10 would start below 50,000 DKK (6,700 Euro, 5,700 Pounds sterling), but not how far below.
best regards

That's not what I heard. I was told 'around £7000'. Makes sense. The BV7-40 is nearly £10K. Take away the stand and some of the other features and I guess you end up at a fair BV10-40 price. Also, £7K is directly between the price of the BV8-40 and BV7-40.
Isn't the BV10 months off yet? December? Why are people so excited?

People are maybe excited because they have been expecting such a B&O TV for years, up to date, with apropriate connexions and a price decreasing...

I'm one of those who's so excited about this new TV, I'd give away my kidney to find out more (actually, on second thought no....)
Given that the main draw of its slim size is to mount it on a wall, can someone confirm if floor stands (motorized or otherwise) will be available? It's the perfect upgrade to my 32" BV 8, as the 40" version isn't sold in the USA.

I think we should realize that these are guesses. Remember the Beolab 4? When shown to the dealer's they felt they were priced too low.
I think we can only assume that it will be more then the BV8 and less then the BV7. Also, 40" is rumored to come first, other sizes are open and the only indication they will come is that the B&O financials talk about a "family".

Does anybody have some pictures of new BV10 or can make some sketches?
Imagine a rectangle. Now draw a line a little more than two thirds of the way down. You've done it! (the frame is very thin, unlike the BeoVisions 4,5, & 9)
It's not like the BeoVision 7 where there are some curves and angles. It's not mean to make that kind of three dimensional statement. It is a flat simple rectangle. It is very sleek. It will be massively affordable.

I´m getting very excited. Sounds like a awesome new BeoVision. Trip just to get you right. Is the speaker below the 2/3? Or is it the alu frame that goes 2/3 down?
It´s not magic - it´s Bang & Olufsen

Right. In that regard it is like the BeoVision 5 and I think that's where the comparison comes in. Where the BeoVision 9 is bulgy and awkward, the BeoSound 5 is flat and sleek and balanced. The BeoVision 10 is the same way. Screen on top, speaker panel on bottom, and a thin flat frame around the whole deal.

Will there be smaller screen sizes (i.e. 26, 28, 32) as well?
Or will the small/medium size amateur (who does not want to overwhelm his room with a large screen) remain limited to BeoVision 6 and 8?
