Re: beolink 5000 screen fallen out!
Many years ago I had a poor condition BL5000 that had pixels broken and the screen loose. I didn't pay much for it and was aware of it when I bought it. I used a bit of super glue to fix the screen itself in place.
Sounds like you got a broken screen... They are very expensive to replace. I was quoted something in the range of 300 euro when I asked B&O service some 7 years ago.
I ended up giving it away and getting a brand new one instead.

The screen of the Beolink 5000 is a part of the mainboard, not like the Beo4.
if you change the screen you must change the mainbord, 250 euros in france.....

The screen doesn't need to be changed, it just need to be re attached to the electronic ribbon strip.... is this possible though?

Someone with good soldering skills might be able to help you. But from what I remember the connecting strip is very delicate and small, like a computer component.

Re: beolink 5000 screen fallen out!
I have 2 BL5000 remotes one with only a loose screen and one with a loose screen that does only show partial characters.
- Is it possible to restore the conection of the screen to the mainboard? and
- what is the best way to fix the glassscreens?
