You need to set the clock first.
Set the built-in clock
> While the system is in standby, press and hold
ST.BY until the time
blinks in the display. If no time is set, the display shows ‘- -.- -’ instead
of digits.
> Press up or down to find the correct time. Holding down a button
accelerates the search.
> Press
STORE to store the correct time.
> To see the time permanently in standby, press
ST.BY while the system is in standby. Press ST.BY
again to cancel time viewing in standby.
And to set up the timer function:
Make a Wake-up Timer
The Wake-up Timer is a once-only Timer, and must be programmed each
time you wish to use it.
> While the system is in standby, press
TIMER. The time for the latest
Wake-up Timer is shown in the display. The digits blink.
> Press up or down to find the time you want the system to start playing.
Press and hold up or down to step quickly to the desired time.
> Press the button of the source you want to use for your Wake-up timer;
RADIO or A MEM. ‘Pr’ (for a radio program) or ‘A’ (for A MEM)
is shown in the display. If you do not choose a source, the radio is used.
> Press
STORE to store the Wake-up Timer. The time for the Wake-up Timer is briefly shown in the display.
Check or delete a Wake-up Timer
> While the system is in standby, press
TIMER. The time for the Wake-up Timer blinks in the display.
> Press
STORE to confirm your Wake-up Timer, or…
> …press
DELETE to delete the Wake-up Timer. ‘-.--’ is shown briefly in
the display.
Snooze
You can activate a snooze function when a Wake-up Timer switches on
the radio or starts memory card playback. Pressing any button or turning
the wheel within the first ten seconds switches off the system for ten
minutes, after which the Wake-up Timer is executed once more. You can
activate the snooze function as many times as you like.
