    Beocenter 9300

I have a Beocenter 9300 that automatically switches itself off after about an hour, but there are no programmes in the machine! Can anyone advise how to clear what appears to be a phantom programme.

    Hi

I think it has to do with the timer/clock funcktion try to unplug it from the mains in approx 5 minutes and plug it in again.ore change the lithium battery inside the 9300.

    @ birgerbum

Your universal cure for problems with BC9000/8500/9500/9300 seems to involve changing the lithium battery!

I have direct experience of many of these fine systems and I have never had to change the lithium battery.

Can you quote examples of what has actually been cured by this action or do you simply have shares in the manufacturer of lithium batteries????

Always thought that if the internal lithium battery needs replacing the the word "code" is shown on the display?

Correct, I believe Craig. At least, that is what I have read in one of the service manuals, Can't recall which one!

    Hi Graham

That was just a suggestion as I once have solved a bc 9500 with somewhat strange problem by chanching the battery.

    Hi  Graham

A nother thing that came to my mind why don't you suggest a solution as you are expirienced with these machines.

I suggest deletion of all preset programs using the built in test menu as outlined in the service manual which can be downloaded from this site.

I suppose that by removing the battery, everything is cleared from the memory. One could then just put the original back. There obviously must be a way to also clear it using the remote.

    Hi Bensa

That's what I ment by chanching the battery as I have had a few cases with strange behavior as the battery was low and there was no indication from the display. But I will not make more comments on this issue as there are a few wise guy's who seems to know better.
