Which is the best iPod dock for B&O setup ?

And is there dock with on screen menu from iPod which can be controlled by beo4 ?

B&O will release an iPod dock this year. just wait.

Just bought an iPod universal dock from Apple.

Carge any iPod/iPhone and exit through a mini jack as a line out.

It comes with a remote control.

I attach it to the AUX input of my BeoSound 3000 and I'm quite HAPPY with it.

Less than 50 USD.

Yes this is good solution,

but one thing that i want is on screen menu from iPod.

As far as I understood apple universal dock doesn't have possibility of on screen menu ...

Is there any dock who can do that ?

Is it going to be a dock with a built-in speaker, such as the bose soundock or just a way to connect an ipod to a beosound ?

I'm realy curious to see what this dock is going to be... I'm not an iPod user (I'm sticking to my BS2 for those couple of hours I use it per year) but I'm looking forward to see how B&O integrates it with the BS5.. OR any other B&O system...

It's going to be a way to connect the iPod to a BeoSystem 3 (or other video platform) with an on-screen menu for browsing its audio and video content. It will only be a peripheral. No ML. No Speakers. Nice low price, though. 

No ML? Then how does it connect to the Video system? Via scart or AUX maybe?

By 'nice low price' I assume you mean by B&O pricing standards? I didn't think the phrase 'low' & 'price' was in their lexicon.

It will just be a dock. It will rely on the iPod's DA converter and connect via standard video cables. Our real iPod dock is called the BeoSound 5. Live the dream.

I think I will go for the Apple TV!

Apple TV is a pain in the ass. If you're willing to give up access to 80% of the movies available on earth in return for a highly dubious level of "convenience" then it's a great product.

If and when it comes untethered from their narrow content distribution stream, boost the memory, and find better ways of sorting content than ever lengthening lists, I'll get back on board. For now I have two of them in a drawer while I watch movies on my new BeoMaster 5. It's by no means perfect, but it's open source and that's as good as you can get for a digital video peripheral these days.  

@Koning, how are they supposed to get around the Ipod D/A to improve the sound? You cant really access the files on an Ipod. 

Whoever wants to buy an ATV, take a careful look. Its not very user friendly, Itunes is falling behind as well. Managing Movies in Itunes is still a pain, Boxee.TV and others show very well how this can be automated through internet DBs pulling in reviews and Trailer without me jumping through hoops.
