    When you have the main menu - press MENU - 9 - (Configuration) - 0 - 0 - GO - Maintenance - GO - Service menu.

You can connect an USB keyboard and mouse to BM5.

    Hi

is there a way to access the menu from the beosound 5 itself? i sort of remember the technician pressing 'right' 'left' 'right' 'go', but i can't remember the exact way.

    thank you so much

is that under mode - settings - maintenance? it still doesn't work.

hmmmm, it's frustrating me now.  the dealer has said he would come round for 5 weeks now, and he hasn't come yet.

if you find out, please let me know, i tried the formula you gave above with the numbers, but that will only access ther service menu on my tv for tv and dvd.

    thank you so much again

    Re: Maintenance Mode

Sorry - yes, go to SETTINGS, press right - left - right - left - GO. Now you can choose different menus, for example SERVICE MENU.

Use the lever, wheel and buttons on BS5 - NOT Beo4.

    Good luck

    Re: Maintenance Mode

I have tried this and got to the maintenance mode - where can I find the IP address? Which section I tried looking but cannot find it? I remember reading on this forumn that you should be able to find the IP address from this mode? If not how else can I find the IP address?

Also how do you exit this mode?

    Thanks,

    Arvind

    Re: Maintenance Mode

On the maintenance menu, select "Network Info" (third choice from bottom up).

The third item is "IP Address".

To exit from maintenance menu, select "Mode" (first choice), then select "N.Music" or "N.Radio".
