It is recommended to use a mild window cleaning preparation - I use Windowlene!

    Hello.

The best way IMHO is to use a soft, barely moist cloth and wiping over the smears a few times without to much pressure. Sometimes just "breathing" against the screen and then using a dry cloth is sufficient.

If this will not help, try a mild window cleaner (no alcohol) and spray just a little bit on the cloth. Do not apply anything on the screen! Always on a cloth or tissue.

    Regards

    Alex

When I clean my 7-40 screen I use a lightly moist/damp cloth and rub in a circular motion around the smear, I then polish it out with a polishing duster immediately. You need to do it quickly after rubbing the smear and also press very hard. The duster should also be a new one or a recently washed one otherwise it will just spread the smear rather than buff it out. Get this right and it works wonders and completly protects the screen. Can take a short while to do 40inches woth of screen but worth it!

    Simon.
