That CD rack is a great one Andy, I hope you win it. I don't need one, since I already got one.

Better to throw the old Mars Bar remotes at kids - less useful and heavier!
That's a good point. I wonder how heavy a Beo1 is, they're not much use for anything else, are they?

Re: BEOWORLD PRIZE DRAW - JANUARY 2009 !!
I only got my Digilux 3 last june, got it at a reasonably good price too. I had been using my C-lux 2 up to that point, and I still use it when I need something compact and light.
Which lens do you have for your M8? If i was to get an M8, I think I would get a 35mm summarit, or possibly a 50mm summicron to start, some of the faster lenses are really expensive, certainly out of my budget! lol

The Beo1 is an interesting remote for me, when it came out it signaled change to me. Sadly it never got off the ground.
However, I got Beolink 1000, 5000, 7000, Beo4, so the Beo1 would be a nice addition. I'm hoping to add the Beo5 this summer, secretly buying it without my better half knowing Just as I did with my Mac OS X leopard version today. Thanks Apple for making small packages!

Re: BEOWORLD PRIZE DRAW - JANUARY 2009 !!
The Prizes are hotting up as we enter the 'final three' !!
Third Prize this month is an amazing 'NOS' Vintage Beomaster 2400 Tuner/Amplifier!!
Another one of our 'BeoWorld Barn-Finds' - a 'New Old Stock' Beomaster 2400 Tuner Amplifier from 1980. It was unpacked, spent about two months on display in the dealership - then it was gently packed back up in it's original box and lay in a dark corner of the dealers warehouse ever since. After 29 years, when tested - it simply fired up and worked perfectly. That's Bang & Olufsen for you.. This stunning unit still has it's original price tag on the power cord (£365.95) and has been re-packed with all of it's guarantees and user manuals intact. To have it literally 'timewarped' to 2009 without being touched for all this time is quite amazing. A really very special prize, and without a doubt 'museum grade' - it really is 'as new'.. Good Luck!
The recipient of this museum piece (in the nicest sense!) is..
Mr C. Craggs (cjfc) of London, UK
Treasure it - that's an order.. from about 30 or 40 BeoWorlders who wished they had won it !!

Which lens do you have for your M8?
As of current I have the 35mm Summilux Asph F1,4, 50mm Summilux F1,4 and Elmarit 90mm F2.8. The 35mm is my most used lens. I've had it since my M6 days... Drooling for a Noctilux!!!

Re: BEOWORLD PRIZE DRAW - JANUARY 2009 !!
Of course I think the heaviest remote is the MCP - but that is not one to throw at anyone! It would be intersting to weigh them all (with and without batteries!)

Thanks!
The Mini got the Leopard pre installed. The Leopard is for my older Powerbook G4. I'm using it right now. It's getting older every minute, but what a laptop it is! 17" and all about quality.
