I need a cabinet for my BeoVision 4 50" HELP
I have been advised that the B&O cabinets do not support a BeoVision 4 50". I need some sort of cabinet.
Any recommendations as to what make to look for?
I also remember a new company who built cabinets purposefully for B&O equipment!! what company was that?
Cheers for any help.

Spectral make some nice TV stands. Very good build quality, my parents have one.

Re: I need a cabinet for my BeoVision 4 50" HELP
I've been looking for a small cabinet that would raise my 28" Avant about a foot higher, yet can withstand the 60kg weight.
Any suggestions guys?
32" RF VCR Avant, 2 x 28" VCR Avant, DVD1, Beocom 6000, Beo5, A9 Keyring!

Hi Scotty -
In fact, the B&O large cabinet #1218666 (http://www.bang-olufsen.com/cabinets) is designed to support a BV4-50 on table stand. My brother has his BV4-50 on one; mine holds LPs and a BeoGram.
It's sturdy, strong, and really well-made. No complaints.
Good luck -

The B&O cabinet shows only speaker on it, are you sure it will hold a 50"?

Here is a website in the UK which stocks Spectral stands. I'm not sure of the cost of the B&O cabinet, but I reckon its probably not far off these. My parents bought theirs from a HiFi shop here in NI, and I'm sure if you were to look in whathifi magazine you could find a retailer near yourself. The problem with spectral is that they have very little information on the internet, but a retailer would have a catalogue. There are alot of finishes (coloured doors, different glass etc) and cabinet sizes to choose from.
Hope this is of some help, and if you have any other questions just ask.
Robert.

I've stood on top of mine, based on that it will hold.

No problem. I, too, have stood on top of my cabinet - I'm about 190 lbs. Cabinet in USD should run about $2200 with doors.
