As far as I know the best video signal to get out of an Avant DVD is a S-video signal from the AV - Scart. Anyone know of a way to get i higher quality (I.e. RGB / Component) signal from the Avant DVD to a projector ?

There is RGB in the SCART on the AVANT which will provide the best quality for your projector

 

I was under the impression that the Avant only has RGB inputs on the scart connections. How do you reverse them and make them into outputs?

The AV and Decoder SCART's are RGB in only, but the AVANT DVD still has the Video Tape SCART which does have in/out as per the spec below

In the Avant menu, activate the scart plug as a non-BO VTAPE

From the specs, the VTAPE scart appears to have composite video input and output, and RGB input only.

I am also under the impression that it is only RGB inputs on the Avant, but nothing would please me more I there is an RGB out signal avaliable one one of the scarts.  Anyone that can confirm if this is so ?
