    BS9000 ML into Loewe? How

I am trying to set something up for a friend and hopeful you guys can help.

He has an existing B+O multiroom system all ML'd.  Within the drawing room is an Avant with 8000's plugged in.  In an adjacent room, but still ML'd is a 9000 amongst others.

He is replacing the avant with the Loewe Indi 52".  Speaker wise within the drawing room, this will use the line level input on the 8000's but can i somehow utilise something like the active kit and an IR sensor to link the 9000 in AND retain control of the 9000 through the ML system?  I have seen people do this before but never had the need to investigate.

Centre channel will be provided by either the Loewe centre speaker or a BeoLab 10 again on a line level.

I have suggested he gets the BV9 but there is no way he will spend that much at the moment.

Any help much appreciated from a long time observer, first time poster.

Re: BS9000 ML into Loewe? How

If I understood well, Loewe should be intergaded to the ML? That's interesting!!! But from my point of view not possible since I guess that the communication protocol should be different.

Any links you might havefrom people done this, it would be very much appreciated!

    Best regards

It terms of this thread and its question, the Beo5 can control all the B&O products and all the 3rd party products from the one remote.

    Look HERE for more information.

On the basis of using Beo5 to configure the system, that would open endless possibilties as he will require control of other units namey Italian Satellite, Sky and FreeSat PVR.

Thanks for your help guys.  Now need to go about playing around ith setup of a Beo5 for this me thinks.
