Problems with Beovision 4-37 and Beosystem 2

    Hi there

I've recently finished building a home theatre system with the above + BS9000, BL8000s, BL4000s as centre, BL3s, BL2.  I got the screen from America so have got a voltage transformer for it. All other items are UK voltage.

The problem is that it doesn't work.  The IR eye doesn't light, the TV won't go on. No response from the remote.  Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Which cables have you between the BS2 and the BV4?

Hi.  Connected with that cable that has a 9 pin and a 15 pin at each end.

You should be able to connect a DVD straight to the screen. I would try that first without going through the BS2, that way you can confirm that the screen itself is working.

What converter are you using. If it is undersized, it might not power the screen at all.

I'll try that. thanks.  Using a 200w transformer.  Screen is approx. 180W.
