Similar IR-codes for the Popcorn Hour ?

Hi, I posted a thread a while ago concerning my mediaplayer Popcorn Hour that I would like to control with my B&O-remote. The Popcorn is not yet added to the PUC-list but I found some interesting information regarding which IR-codes the Popcorn uses. If you follow the link, does someone have a clue if I can use some other device from the PUC-list that uses the same codes as the Popcorn ??

Cool, just a quick question, would it need to have a line of sight for the IR or could you se the STB-C on the TV to send the IR signal?

Just a note if your using the PopcornHour codes i created, Make sure you leave the 'buttons' in the 'touch' screen part of the remote, It will take up 5 pages but you can then assign the commands to the 'hard' keys.

I made the mistake of deleting them once i had assigned them to the hard keys only to find that it looses the command if they're deleted.

unfortunatly as this is a 3rd party set of ir codes you will have to have line of sight.

Re: Similar IR-codes for the Popcorn Hour ?

Wtabram, thanks for your post. I also noticed the problem that you mention and could not make it work how matter I tried but came to the same conclusion as you did. You need to keep the "baseline" for the Popcorn, then you can assign the commands to other keys.

    Regards

    Hans
