Re: The Beo4 FAQ under construction

Oh my goodness, I didn't mean to post that picture!
I copy and pasted it into an email for my son and then accidently pasted again into this post. Having said that, this is the first time I've managed to post a photo on here!!!

    jandyt:

Here's a good one for you, Kevin. No answer required, KeithWink

How do I tune and store a radio station on my Beomaster 7000 with my Beo4?

    Andy T.

    Right, here goes-----

1   Add V.SETUP to your list
    2   Press Radio
3   Leave the room and press TV and then list until V.SETUP appears
4   Press GO, it should then say TUNE
5   Return to the room were your Beomaster 7000 is
6   Press up or down til you get the fequency you're looking for
7   Press list until STORE appears
8   Press GO  17  Go (presuming you want to store your new station as 17

    Bit long-winded, but it worksGeeked

Re: The Beo4 FAQ under construction

For cleaning i only use an 'e-cloth' for that smear-free chemical-free finish  (i just noticed how that sounded - i liked the product that much i bought the company)

this applies to most b+o not just the beo4 , ive not heard anyone on the forum mention them so thought id add it here

The list of items under the LIST button can become crowded.
There is a need for structure.

To get the items in a specific place in the LIST gallery you can do the following:
Press ST.BY and LIST at once
    Select "MOVE?"
Select the item you want to move.
Press a number that is appropriate (0-9)

With the specific number you can accurately move a LIST item to the place you want.

Re: The Beo4 FAQ under construction

I am trying to work out what the codes under LIST do when they are missing from the PDF that one downloads from B&O ...

For example, what does P-DVD2 mean !

Or A-N.RA ... obviously something to do with Net Radio, but what?

Similarly A-PC, L-PC (I guess Link PC ... but so?)

    P-MUTE

And finally why does my Beo4 keep reverting to DVD2 even after I have removed P-DVD2 as an option in the list ... (sorry that was a specific question rather than a question for the FAQ)

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
