    8002: if I only had a brain!

I need 8002 circuitboard including the tin "can" mounted on it OR just the can assy OR the 40pin device inside.

Also useable would be a can and chip from an 8000 or 6006. Phil Hunt, Long Valley, NJ, USA 973 584 0161

    Phil:

What happened? I thought you got it all working with the frankenstien 8000 CPU can?

Yes it works, but I scavenged a repaireable 8000 to get it. And the 8000 processor deletes and modifies some of the 8002 functions. Practically not signigicant, but technically a knock-so I bought an 8002 as a parts unit, hoping to get the electronics,  and it had water damage which must explain the processor failure in that chassis. Remarkably, if I had another circuitboard assy, I could probably fix this one as well! So I'm motivated to find these parts. Phil

For ages, finding a good tangential repairer in the states has been a huge problem. It seems this has finally been solved.Laughing

Keep up the good work, Phil !   Yes - thumbs up
