    How very interesting.  Has anyone ever looked at Audiokarma.org?  Vintage stuff there but B&O is underrepresented.

    I received a music download gift invitation from LINN and so I took a look at:

     Twas the night before Christmas ... except for a mouse 

    And so now I have tracks from both

    Dawn Langstroth
    Highwire

    (it is interesting looking at her YouTube channel(?) to see her natural style, and the evolution of her musical style)

    and 

    Mark Moraghan
    Moonlight's Back in Style

    and I have been playing them as well as 10++ CDs of Christmas gifts, as well capturing of my music DVDs onto a hard drive so that I can access them through Phillipe's LinkPlayer.

    DVDs captured and listened to so far have been:

    Eagles Hell Freezes Over

    Katie Melua Collection

    And today hope to do Rod Stewart ...

    First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Played/watched the Ovation channel broadcast of Holst's "The Planets".

    As this Amazon page's review notes the performance was not spectacular, but what lifted it above the ordinary was the visual montage.

    Not sure I would buy the DVD, but I would certainly watch some of the planets again!

    So recommended if it comes to a channel near you ...

    Turned the Beomaster 8000 up to 5, and let the MS150's and S80.2's rattle the fireplace with Photek's "Form and Function", track number 12 - "UFO".

    Just starting to work my way through the ECM collection 'rarum.' Some fantastic improvised jazz, although I have to admit that some of it is a bit too improvised for my taste! Terje Rypdal loading next.
