Another classic this time Danish. Cd from the Gasolin' boxset. Released in 1976 as a double lp with the very first Sweet Silence recording: Hvad gør vi nu lille du? tagged on as the last song which was one of the major reasons that this album got sold in big numbers.

 

Beocord 9000 plays a bootleg tape with Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of wight 1970 and the Stora gig in Sweden 2 days after.

The Isle of wight is out on official DVD and double cd. Way better than the VHS version and an ok show for the conditions Jimi was in a the time.

 

I'm slowly getting into the wonders of HX pro. I never really tried recording with my BC9000 and have always found Dolby B/C muddy when doing a playback. Thanks to the manual on site I have begun doing a little here and there.

I found a tape today with Ramones Leave home on it. As its recorded on my former non B&O stereo the sound quality was far from ideal so I'm recording a fresh copy of the vinyl which I have not heard in a long time with Dolby C ingaged on the BC9000 just to hear the difference.

Beocord 9000 plays an old bootleg with Metallica. Live at Wembly 23.5 1990. Pretty good audience recording. Last few gigs before writing the Black album.

 

I went jogging with my new iPhone for the first time, hooked up to A8 headphones listening to Gabriela Cilmi, Lessons to be Learned. Makes the workout a whole new experience! Highly recommended...

 

With the new iPod Touch you could track your jogging with Nike+; it's a device that you put on you nike shoes and u'll see your distance, calories and so many more features on your iPod.

Don't know if it works with iPhone :S

My newly fixed Beocord 8004 (thanks to Dillen!) is playing 'Whatever' single by Oasis from 1994 - well worth having old B&O fixed up for the pleasure of owning these fine machines :)

I totally agree as always. Maybe there should be a sticker made that says" Serviced by Dillen" to place on the back for future reference?

I would be needing at least 10 or more.

Metallica Ride the lightning from the new double reissue vinyl.

Just recorded with Dolby C and it sounds 97% close to the Beogram 8002.

Pretty impressive I must say.

To fill out the tape I recorded some tracks from the Garage days EP by Metallica.

I took them from Garage Inc. Triple vinyl.

I must say that a Beocord 9000 records really great. It's hard to tell its a tape playing.

The Kodo Drummers - One Earth Tour Special live CD

Saw them on their last world tour lasyt year and it was an amazing experience.

 The live CD sounds excellent on my Beosystem 5000/S45-2 combination, I would imagine hearing the CD on a pair of Lab 5's would be stunning.
