    Beo Sound 9000 connectivity

I am looking at buying a BeoSound 9000 CD unit, however, it is a European model 220 volts. My question is can I connect my current 120 volt (Penta) speakers up to this system? Also can someone clarify if a model 2571 is a MKII or MKIII. In the product info section it shows MKIII as 2572 and above.

     Thanks

Type 2571 is a Mk III.  There should be no red power button on the outside of your unit. I see no reason why you can't use your BS 9000 with your Pentas.  Obviously you'll need a step-up voltage converter or internal modification first.

    Thanks Mediabobny,

I thought they would work but just wanted a second opinion, and thanks for the info on the 2571.

The powerlink is not affected by what voltage the main unit runs on.

I had a BS2300 European with external 220 to 110 converter  with my US BL3s running a for year.

    Wasnt a problem.
