Not me, but just for fun I tried it through the new translation utility in Google. It was able to make a semi-understandable Finnish version out of it! Laughing

I don't know if there's a better way to use it, but drop the title of the thread ("B&O HDMI Expander Gefen") into the search box, and click the "translate this page" link next to the appropriate search result.

    Here we go Beoaus!

Vicente has a BV7-40 mk1 upgraded with the HDReady kit to a mk2, he was trying the gefen hdmi switcher which works in 2 different ways, in a "B&O compatibility" mode and in a "generic mode",
finally the only mode that works with the BV7 is the "B&O mode" that don't use the spdif digital audio out of the gefen, and all the external HD devices must plug their digital audio outputs directly to BV bypassing the hdmi switcher.

In this mode the switcher works perfectly well and can be controlled by beo4 and beo5, but the BV7 lose one scart input for each hdmi source you want connect.

Vicente in fact was searching to use all the SD scarts inputs and add 4 hdmi sources via the BV7 DVI plug, with a full beo4-beo5 control, but this is not possible, so he has decided to sell his BV7 mk1 "upgraded" and go for a brand new BV7 mk3. (does any buyer interested here?? Big Smile)

    Hope this helps.

    Regards.

    Santiago
