Well, I guess I'll be relegated to using it in the charger as well!

I never put my BL7000 back together after these threads -hoping that someone might have a solution.

In the meantime... any confirmation from users that the BL7000 remains stable when used solely from the charging stand?

Re: Beolink 7000 keeps switching on and off

My "bad" BL7000 still works all fine in charger but to be honest I dont use it that much since i have a "good" BL7000 that is my joy :). One downside with the "bad" BL7000 that im abit worried that I never "execise" the battery in the same fashion I do with my "good", since the "bad" mostly sits in the charger.....

    Cheers

Re: Beolink 7000 keeps switching on and off

@ Leslie, I did a recap and battery replacement and that resolved the issue for me. Can be viewed in this thread here

    http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/35867/297765.aspx#297765

    I would do basic check:
Battery is good and producing 6 volts?
Pin 10 on the ribbon cable is at 5Volts when BL is on and 0 volts when off. If it is, then issue is with the analogue board. If it’s not, then issue is the digital board.
Check with a meter that there is continuity in the ribbon cable ie. No break.
     Reseat the ribbon cable.

    Next:
If you have two BL’s try compare voltage readings on same parts of the board between the two.

Check the voltage of the back-up battery on the microprocessorboard.

If you are looking for an LCS I have one.  Currently on ebay.  Pricey but I would give a discount to a fellow Beoworld member.
