can this TV remote use with my beomaster 5000 ?

Not quite true. A Terminal 5000 will work and is less bulky than the MCP.

Quite hard to find these. I waited about 6-8 mths for a good one to come up on eBay. Hardly ever use it though!

I had a "IR-converter" that looked much like a "X-tra Speaker Kit" wich i recall was able to be used with diffrent of pre-beolink1000 models, including Beomaster 5000 (i might be wrong tho). I traded my for a real "X-tra Speaker Kit" wich was what i wanted when I bought it. 

Traded it with Peter here on site :D since he was very intrested in the manual.
