Ah! There speaks the voice of the young! Unfortunately the pin position varies so you can only put the correctly rated bulb in each fitting! We have three different sorts of bulb at the surgery. They all look identical to the untutored eye! And you always pick up the wrong one when they need replacing and wonder why they won't fit!
Brings new meaning to the old joke that is changing a light bulb!!!!!! How hard can it be!!
Well, I am going to order one of each of the G24s!! They have the slots on the side which mirror the inside of the holder.. well i think anyway!!!
Thanks again!

is this the lamp Mobe? gives the bulb type in the spec
Hope this helps
Graeme
When Mobe first posted this thread I looked it up on the web. Got the same bulb as you Graeme, Do not think it is correct though. That will not fit the Bulb Holder in Mobe's picture. Not that I can see.

Then you must have to be careful with static elctric charges. (Perhaps you don´t need to cut the nails of the feet, it would be an advantage)

The lamp is gleaming in all its glory now! How complicated is this green business!
Peter:So how many Beoworlders does it take to change a lightbulb?
Let's have a Poll and find out!
BeoWorld - Everything Bang & Olufsen
Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
Puncher:I take it from all this that Mobe won't be a very frequent contributer to the proposed new Techy forum
Certainly seems to be the case!!!!
Cant believe I posted a thread about a lightbulb LOL!!
Must be my youth
Blimey Mobe - I bet you're the only bloke I know who's actually looking forward to a return to the dark ages
