Avant DVD 32 RF wonky picture!?

Hi i have recently noticed that the picture on my television is crooked/wonky.

By this i mean that instead of the top and bottom edges of the actual viewing image being parallel -  the picture is higher/deeper at the left hand side of the TV and converges across the screen somewhat to the right, so the height of the pic LH side is nearly 5mm along the top edge and 3 mm along the bottom edge wider than the RH side of the actual viewing image!?!?!?

    Hope that all makes sense?

Can anyone please shed any light on this problem and a cure for it if there is one?

    Look forward to any help/repiles.

You can adjust this in the service menu via Earth Field Correction. Adjust Top Skew and Bottom Skew until the picture geometry looks correct.

At least, that's how it works on my Avant MkIII

Fil, anything you decide to mess with in the service menu, I would recommend writing the values down first!
At least you have something to return to if you goose everything up.

Would it be better for me ( a techno dunce) to get a B&O engineer to do it?

I think so. Should not take him long so not very expensive.
