Is modification of a 120V Beogram to a 220V Beogram possible?

Can a U.S. Beogram 7000 (120V) be modified to be a European Beogram 7000 (220V)? I have read on the forum that some equipment has voltage switches inside that can be switched to the correct voltage. Is that the case with a Beogram 7000? If not: is there another solution? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!

There are no switches in the beogram but the same transformer is used in both versions. The circuit diagram indicates that you can change the tappings on the transformer and replace the 500mV fuse with a 700mV. Any competent electronics engineer should be able to do this conversion for you.

    Regards Graham

I've looked at the service manual on Beoworld and I think I'm able to do it myself. It seems not to difficult. Thanks for your help Graham!!!

Just did the change of tappings myself and it works perfectly. Thanks for the help!
