    beo 4 remote options

Can the remote be programmed to switch a 3200 from different display options

i.e. instead of having to press display to list stored c/d titles

    I don't think you can - but I don't own a 3200. Maybe some owner has tried?

    Re: beo 4 remote options

Thank you again Peter for the cue.

If you have, or can download the BeoSound 3200 Guide, that information is on page 19. To be helpful, I'll type it out below for you with the Beo 4 commands in capitals:

    Naming                                                                                                         19

See the list of CD names

While any CD is playing press twice to see the names. MEMORY appears briefly, then the name of the current CD flashes. If it has no name, the disc number, e.g. DISC 1 appears

    ( NAME, NAME, MEMORY DISC 1 )

Press to list the names one by one

( Beo 4 arrows up or down are pressed )

I hope this is helpful. I have also never done this command, as we sit too far away from the BS 3200 display to be able to read it.

I would urge a little caution at this point as the next series of options listed immediately under the naming commands are titled  Delete CD name . . .

One of the many virtues of Beoworld Gold membership is the ability to download the user manuals if you need or like to.
