    Beosund 9000, Beogram compatability

    Do i need a Beogram with built in RIAA amp to use through my beosound 9000 with Beolab 6000 speakers?  Or not?

    Yes you will, or get an external RIAA. Just remember that you will not be able to control the Beogram via Datalink.

    The Beosound 9000 does not have datalink so that will not be a problem.

    To plug in direct you need a Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 or 7000. To go via external RIAA you can use virtually any of the others.

    I think Ridax made a little plug in thing (sorry for the technical term!) which allowed you to control a beogram from your remote.

    So i take it also that it doesnt matter that the Beolab 6000 speakers  have built in Amplifiers, i still need either a built in Amp in Record deck or external amp ??
