    9 LEE:

    * Improved Gallery on Forum with user ability to upload images

This will be made possible when we upgrade to CS2008 Professional - details later in this post. We are considering making this feature available to Silver and Gold Level Members only, as images take up lots of server space - and it's the paying members that pay for this! Unfortunately, servers aren't free - and BeoWorld is getting so big we keep having to upgrade, which costs real money.

So I have to pay for anothers pleasure (they look and enjoy, I pay) Big Smile...

normal pictures of a size 600x800 has got a capacity of a huge 100 kb's Big Smile. So if you have a 100mb space free for the photo section you can post 1000 jpg pictures (and that's a lot). If 100mb is too expensive for Beoworld the Beoworlders can use a FREE site like imageshack or what else to upload their photo's.

Ofcourse I can understand the site needs money, but with a few design ads you can easilly earn money with it instead of loosing it and asking the members for it...

    Please give us detailed suggestions!

Imageshack creates pop-ups i think, and i know a few people who now refuse to use it.  I could be wrong though.

Nice. I misunderstood. This makes more sense.

if you use the normal imageshack link you will get pop-ups, you have to click on the photo, use that link and put the img tag between it

    example:

You can also create your free 30mb space on http://ripway.com/index.asp (that's including picture hosting and hotlinking for use on forumsSmile)

I would be happy if the photo section was the same as on the old forum.

    Re: BeoWorld Improvements

Photobucket.com also allows posting of pictures directly in forums, so you don't need to click.  In fact they even make it easier for you by putting the forum picture tags on either end of the address of each picture so you can just copy the line into the forum and the picture will show up.  In regards to the on-site photo space we definitely don't need 100mb.  Even 50mb would be more than enough.  I've been on forums that only give you 16mb.  50mb allows about 50 high quality images.

How about auto sizing the forum page. I have a lot of blue left and right, it would reduce my need to scroll as much.

    * The three variations on BeoWorld Skandinavien have been condensed to just Danish.

I hope we're still allowed to post in Swedish...

    No - sorry, Danish only..Geeked

Joking of course, it is for Danish, Swedish and Finnish - but as discussed, we have just condensed the forum description.

Would it be an idea to rewrite it (in Danish) to say this is the place for all three languages?  Your call everyone!!

No, it´s for Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. Some Finnish people speak Swedish, but the rest speak Finnish and that´s something completly different. It´s closer to Hungarian then to "Scandinavian".

No, the text in Danish is OK! If you don´t understand the text, then there´s no need to post in that forum.

Chaps!  The changes you have done were right on the button. Top Notch!!

Colours though I have to say, I like them and am happy if they stay as they are.

But the resizing to the window width would help and maybe one could have more posts on one page then currently allowed?

    Kind Regards Toby
I better do my bit and suspend my siggy.

Lee, what is shown on one of the pictures advertising for LifestyleAV on the main page? It looks like a big silver ring with the B&O logo on it...
