Re: What is your favorite watch?

Bought something a bit unusual for me today... A dress watch, although I think The dial and numerals makes it more sporty than normal.
The 18248. Classic. Hope you still own this one when I'll come to see you in June
Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

Nice. Vintage, I presume?
Even as a dress jewel, I suppose it is still waterproof, etc, because it reads "oyster" on the label?
You are correct. Early examples of this watch are waterproof up to 50 metres of depth. The current one up to 100 metres.

Exactly!
And I'm not sure it would classify as a Vintage, it's a -95 model.

Freerk, be careful not to magnetize your Panerai close to your Beolab 5's!

Re: What is your favorite watch?
JC,
What exact model is your Panerai? That's really I model I could fancy, if it's not huge.

Re: What is your favorite watch?
Hi Andreas,
It is a PAM359 Luminor 1950 3 day automatic with a crystal see through case. It is 44mm so a big lump on your wrist but looks amazing
Any more info let me know.
