PC like problem on my Mac

    Dear Mac boffs and lovers,

It has now been a month or so that I cannot transfer photos from my Nikon camera to my MacBook. I plug the camera in via USB and the MacBook does not register it whatsoever. I have tried plugging it in to a friend's PC and it finds the USB connection immediately and works fine. I am wondering whether a software update might have disrupted something, but I cannot remember doing a software update of any sort recently ... unless they happen automatically.

The USB inputs all other devices that I use via USB. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Are you using the same memory card? Try downloading the pictures elsewhere - your friends PC seems as good as anywhere! Laughing - then format the card. That might fix it!

Ah yes! I bought a new SD card for the Nikon. I didn't have to format the previous SD card, but I shall have a go at this tonight.

Strictly speaking it was a memory card problemStick out tongue

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
