BeoSystem 3 and HDTV 3D with IR synched eyeglasses

    Hello all,

Is it possible to connect/view a blue-ray 3D movie from a PlayStation or Samsung player through BeoSystem 3 to a Samsung TV 3D ready (IR transmitter for the eyeglasses)?

Has anyone done it or something similar?

    Regards,

Re: BeoSystem 3 and HDTV 3D with IR synched eyeglasses

It may be possible very soon; once B&O have started to ship the BeoSystem 3D.  Already available in concert with the BeoVision 4 85, and 103 MKII, soon to appear in the BeoVision 7 40 and 55; it will replace the current BeoSystem 3.  Price goes up a bit, an IR transmitter will need to be placed near the screen, and you'll need the B&O version of the Xpand glasses as the software is supposed to be somewhat different from the standard.  We expect it to be compatible with certain 3rd party projectors, so I expect that your monitor will work.  But I don't know for certain.

I do not expect it to be practical to upgrade an existing BeoSystem 3 to the new platform...but again, at this point we just do not know.

    We kid because we love.
