    Beovision 8 32"

I'm thinking of purchasing a beovision 8 and have heard rumours that it will soon be available in 32", can anyone confirm this?? also has anybody seen a beovision 8 in action. My dad has a beovision 7 and I hooked up my ps3 to it and was blown away by the quality and sharpness of the image I was seeing, I mean I played the same game on my mates top of the range Sony and whilst the picture was good the B&O picture had more detail and was sharper, can anybody explain this, is it down to the video processing the B&O does??
Do you think the beovision 8 will produce as good a picture as the beovision 7??

    Yes - it's true!

I doubt the image will be quite as good as the 7, but the price will be just over half that of the BeoVision 7 screen if sources are correct.

Hi dbitalia! Was it BV 7-32 or 40"?

I have seen Beovision 8 and can just say that Beovision 6 are much sharper and have not so blurry picture as BV 8...

I should go for the Bv7 32" if i were you...

I personally feel the upscaling is better on the BeoVision 8, and overall, the picture is better than on the BeoVision 7 when you consider price! I would wait for the BeoVision 7 to be updated, as personally, I think it performs under-par at present.

I should go for the BV 7-32 without the Beolab 7-1 or 7-4 speaker. Then the price decrease with 3800 US Dollars.

So with the stand and BV 7-32 the price would be: 8525.12 US Dollars.

The BV 7-32 Mk III have 1200:1 in contrast ratio against 1000:1 in the BV 7-40= a slightly better picture i think.

I have heared when using the DVI input for hd material on bv7  it does not run the image thru the B&O image processor, its basically outputting directly from the source, is this the case??

You mentioned in this thread when you hooked up your PS3 to your fathers BV 7-40 the picture looked fantastic. So if you are pleased to that picture, it´s always going to look like that with HD DVI signals.

So if you just put in a DVI signal to the BV 7 it will take it through the scaling processor and the movie mode / automatic gain control / Comb filter will turn on.

The movie option are sett to Auto so if you always want to be certain that the Movie mode are on you can set the movie mode to ON (in the service menu).

(Movie mode contains: the vision clear, automatic brightness contrast colour, digital motion control, digital noise reduction and more and more.
