Hi,
Having brand new BV 4-65 D12 panel and new BS3, software 9.01 and the internal IR as well as test with external IR both Beo4 & Beo5 are very slow and/or do not react at all.
Also tested with MKII BS3, same issue.
Anyone ever had this problem and/or knows what would create this issue and how to fix?

Hi,
I don't have this issue with my BV4-65. Didn't know that B&O updated the panel to D12... since when? How does is compare to D10?

hi raveny,
I wanted to change my BV4-50 to a BV4-65 but did not want to have an "old" panel.
I did myself some investigation on the Panasonic site, here is the link to the D12 specs: http://panasonic.net/proplasma/products/65pf12/index.html
I asked my dealer to let me know when B&O would deliver the D12, and it was announced as supported June 2010.
Don't know the specs on the D10 as I only compaired the D11 against the D12, but I'm certain the Panasonic site has the info.

I have the same issue on my BV10-40.
I must be at two meters of the Tv in front of it (without my two years old daughter in front of me !) to have a good working remote.
Never experienced that with my MX or Avant before !
We changed the IR receiver but it's still the same.
So next step is to try the new Beo4 "navigation wheel" and select it in the Beo4 menu.
Still waiting for that new remote...

hi Beogreg,
Why do you think the new Beo4 will solve the issue?
I have this problem with both, the Beo4 AND brand new Beo5.

Might be plasma "waves" disturbing the signal.
Try repositioning the ir-eye or maybe get an updated version - if this exists.

kallasr:

Most likely, but
kallasr:
get an updated version - if this exists.
For at least the past 2 years, improved ir-eyes has been sold with the new systems
so kallasr:
Try repositioning the ir-eye
might be the solution
I would fit the ir-eye directly beneath the panel without getting the plasma "waves" directly on the ir-eye.

hi Beobuddy,
the BV4-65 has the IR Eye fixed on the right top corner of the screen so it cannot be repositioned.
dealer also tested with external IR Eye and it has the same issue.
I was more thinking of BS3 software issues.

On a software update (126) my RE-BL receiver for PS3 (via PUC) stopped working properly.
The only buttons of the Beo4 working where the ones of the new Beo4 navigation wheel.
It works fine with update 127 (RE-BL).
So it seems that the Tv "whants" beo4 with navigation wheel (can't explain more in english sorry).
My tech thinks that also.
Whait and see...
