    Hi Lawrence.

    From my rusty memory...

    Put the speak face down

Undo the strap screws and remove the straps.

Undo all of the screws. There's 9 of them- 3 at the top, 3 at the bottom & 3 in the middle

    Prise the speaker apart

The cloth is glued on to the front and won't come loose

I think you may have to pull a couple of plugs to relase the wires for complete separation.

    Good luck!

    Steve

Here's step by step with pictures Wink

Your RL60's will be different internally, but the casework should be just the same.

if you or any one else know any shop who couid do a good job , please let me know .

Re: having trouble getting access to speaker REDLINE 60

Are they RL60's or RL60.2's ? I only ask as the RL60's will probably have disintegrated surrounds on the ABR's. To test this simply give them a shake & if you hear something rattling inside then this has happened. There is no "off the shelf" fix for this other than to do the work yourself. There are a couple of threads in the product related sections about fixes for this.

    Chris.

Getting a dealer to fix these will massively exceed the value of the speakers.

Agree, If they're RL60's then it would make sense to upgrade them to RL60.2's from eBay and sell the old ones as spares or repairs.
