    Beocom 6000 problems

I have one pyramidal base station and 2 handsets.

Since the 23rd of September, none of the handsets register missed calls and recent calls.

When I press redial, I still see the people I called on the 23rd last month. Same when I press Caller ID.

What may have happen? I suppose it is the base as both handsets react in the same way.

    I can still store numbers...

When the phones rings, can you see the number calling you?

A hard reset is always worth a try. Unplug the PSTN base for 10 minutes and see if this makes a difference. I've had a few anomolies with my Beocom 6000 which were solved by doing this.

When you unplug the base from the mains, switch the handsets off as well. Then re-connect the mains first, then switch the handets back on. I find that usually helps the handsets to re-establish connection ot the base.

The mark 1 handsets are switched by holding down the "dot" button to the left of the wheel for about 7 seconds until the display says "power off". To switch the handset back on, just press the dot button again.
