Blue Ray on BeoVision 7-Help please

Hi everyone. As i searched the forums, i did everything as i should but no picture.. :-(

    Here is the setup.

    Beovision 7-32Type 9321 (MK II).

    PS3

The TV is connected to the PS3 with a DVI to HDMI cable.

The optical connection from the PS3 passes through a toshlink converter and connects into digital audio A4

I have the TV set as VAUX  on AV4 with the A4 audio socket selected.

    But here is the problem.

On AV4 of the BV's Connections Menu i can see the HDTV option with two selections i can make. Either NONE or YPbPr!!! I do not see DVI option there.

Does anyone know why?? Of course i have no picture from PS3. I also have to tell that my PUC has no PS3 on it.

But still the DVI option should be there…...

    Any clues????

Look at what options show up for AVs 1, 2 and 3

You may need to shuffle things around Sad

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Hi Dimitirs,

Hi have exactly the same problem. BV7-32 MK2 type 9312. I would like to connect my TVIX M6500A but I have no image or strange image. I used an HDMI to DVI cable.

In have no sound neither using coax cable. Do you have sound ? I read that we can only read 5.1 sound on our "old" BV7-32 not the 2.0.

Is there any update possible for the sound ?

Any update possible of the PUC ?

Thanks Elephant for your answer, but could you be more specific?

I think only AV4 can accept the DVI/HDMI port.

The others are only for scarts

    @Matbkk

In my opinion you are lucky to have image. I dont't have at all!!! For the other stuff check here, it will be helpful for you.

you can select DVI or YpPrPb in any of the AV sockets providing you have an HD ready scaler fitted in this TV. You may have DVI selected under another source input or there could be a fault with the scaler module?

    Dimitris,

I assume that our TV's are not HD Ready http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/31530.aspx

On your rear panel do you have plastic to cover the YPbPr ? On mine yes. I have nowhere in the menu the word "DVI". On AV4 i can only select "V-AUX(STB)" or "PC".

Mystery solved. Although my dealer initially told me otherwise, just today he confirmed that my BV is not HD-Ready. That means i need the upgrade kit installed.

    What a dissapointment.... Sad

I hope this means he will not be charging you for the module
