    Beovision 10 vs Beosystem 3

I have a Beosystem 3 (with 50 inch 1080p flatbezel screen) that I am thinking of swapping for a new Beovison 10. The main reason is the 50 inch screen has always been too big where it is - especially the speaker Beolab 7-2.

Questions for people who know (or just have an opinion):

Is the picture of the LCD screen worse than a 2.5 year old plasma. I don't much care for the higher refresh rate (I usually turn it off) so that is not a concern.

I would assume the 7-2 is going to sound much better than the very small speakers BV10 but do you think the BV10 would be good enough to act as a center (L/R are BL3 + BL2 subwoofer).

The Beovision 7's have a Beosystem 3 built in - what is inside the BV10, a 'abreviated BS3?)

    Any other opinions?

Any one interested in purchasing a System3, 50 inch screen and 7-2 speaker (central london location?)

    Thanks for the help

Re: Beovision 10 vs Beosystem 3

    Hi Philip,

Regarding the Beosystem 3 and the BV10 I would ask the question more int he way: What do I need? Do you really need the possibilities of the BS3?

I have a BV8-40 with System module and this gives me everything I need and want and even leaves some future possibilities. I have connected a BluRay Player, a digital SAT Receiver and an Apple Dock for my iPod Touch. Further I use ML for other B&O devices.

I have not heard the BV10 but assume it is good enough for Center (my BV8 is also together with BL3).

    Hope it helps a little.
