I have a Beosystem 3 (with 50 inch 1080p flatbezel screen) that I am thinking of swapping for a new Beovison 10. The main reason is the 50 inch screen has always been too big where it is - especially the speaker Beolab 7-2.
Questions for people who know (or just have an opinion):
Is the picture of the LCD screen worse than a 2.5 year old plasma. I don't much care for the higher refresh rate (I usually turn it off) so that is not a concern.
I would assume the 7-2 is going to sound much better than the very small speakers BV10 but do you think the BV10 would be good enough to act as a center (L/R are BL3 + BL2 subwoofer).
The Beovision 7's have a Beosystem 3 built in - what is inside the BV10, a 'abreviated BS3?)
Any other opinions?
Any one interested in purchasing a System3, 50 inch screen and 7-2 speaker (central london location?)
Thanks for the help
Philip
