Has anyone with a 7-40 TV (or perhaps another B&O TV) noticed a loss in picture quality after a software upgrade? What could account for this?

The most obvious thing is a change in configuration? Either you or the dealer has changed the sharpness or something else on your TV and the software upgrade has reset this back to the default setting?

As you've gone from a very early 7-40 sw through to something more recent, this may account for the change in configuration? I know the sharpness setting was made in to a user-definable option, for example.

That sounds like the answer Chris, thanks. Can you let me know the optimum settings so I can change them back? Also the steps to do it on the Beo 4 remote, thanks.
